Mt. Hapunang Banoi - one of Rizal's pabebe climb

Who doesn't love to see the beauty of sea of clouds, the smell of cold breeze of fresh air, and the looks of the green green trees of mountains?

The beauty of this mountain, Mt. Hapunang Banoi located in Rodriguez Rizal, really amazes me with the view of these sea of clouds, the challenging climb in rockies, and lots of spots to take these buwis-buhay pictures!

Yes, buwis- buhay as many of my friends call it, these pictures was taken by our tour guide, Kuya Jef, and is indeed a very good photographer in-spite of the sunny weather, he generously managed to give us these cool shots. (We are only 7 participants on that time, by the way)

The trail itself is very challenging though, of all the minor climbs that I had climbed into, the very sharp edgy rocks that you have to overcome to make yourself to the top, is what really gave me the boost during that hike. What I mean is, it is not that scary, just don't fall into those rocks for that is dangerous. I recommend wearing rubber shoes and gloves if you are planning to climb this mountain. If you are a beginner, this mountain is perfect for your getaway and you wouldn't even feel the muscle pain the day after because I'm telling you, it's easy to climb. Just try to be safe making those buwis- buhay posts because those shots are really buwis- buhay behind  the scenes. The knee shaking is very normal during those times, just try not to fall, please.

You can always have an option not to get out of the danger zone, for example, just sit on the edge of the cliff.

Just always remember, we must always follow the guidelines given to us by our organizer and/or tour guides. These guidelines are for are our safety and conserving the natural beauty of the mountain. Sadly, some of my co- mountaineers didn't happen to follow some of these guidelines along the way, leading us to delay and even accidents. Most importantly, the Leave No Trace (LNT), Take nothing but pictures and kill nothing but time must always be considered because we are not the only one who treks there and also giving respect to our Mother Nature.

Here are some bonus pictures that you might enjoy seeing:
